A poor girl is sent by her evil stepmother to the forest in winter. She has to look for some spring flowers. The girl makes friends with a bunch of cool men of different ages and appearances who turn out to be the months of the years in the flesh. The men fancy the poor girl very much and try to buy her love giving her wonderful gifts. They also did something ugly to her stepmother which part I don't remember well enough. |

Bocaccio has fallen asleep. I will think of a plot now. A dog is taken from a boy - its master. A Scotish lord takes the dog to his house in the Highlands. The dog runs away and the great adventures start! The collie travels across the country to find its way home and to find its master. This book has a happy end. |
